General Returns
If you change your mind about a purchase, or you have purchased the wrong size, we will be happy to exchange the item within 7 days after you’ve received it. The item quality or usability must not be affected and it must be returned in a condition that it can be resold. Shipping costs due to change of mind or wrong size will be the responsibility of the buyer unless agreed upon by both the buyer and The Wandering Hound. Once we have received and checked over the original item, we will organise a store credit for you to make another order. Please note that the buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the original item back to us, and then the cost of shipping the new item. We will not accept exchanges or returns on any sales items.
If your item is damaged or faulty, please get in touch via returns@thewanderinghound.com.au immediately so we can organise a replacement.
Refunds
As our store uses third-party payment applications to process payments, any refund given will take into account the fee the third party charged us for your original transaction. This fee is around 4% of the total purchase amount and will be deducted from the amount we refund you. If you wish to apply for a refund on an item that was eligible for free shipping, an amount of $9.95 will be deducted from your original purchase amount to cover our original shipping costs.
As an alternative option, we can happily offer you an in-store credit for your purchase.
